Yes, I’m alive. Trying to get back into the swing of posting music I like. In this case, this Tallies song “Catapult” is absolutely something I like.

I featured the record in my Recommended Albums of July 2022, but wanted to give a little shine to this song in particular. The melody is incredible, as well as the chorus. I don’t want to harp too much on this comparison, but there are moments when the singer’s voice + vocal mannerisms mirror that of The Sundays, one of my favorite bands. Aside from this, I cannot layer enough praise about how sweet and shimmery the melody and overall song is. One of my biggest favorites of the late summer so far.
