The super-ish group of Sufjan Stevens, Son Lux and rapper Serengeti have released the first song from their upcoming EP, “Beak and Claw.” Sufjan takes the autotuned route to create an atmosphere similar to the one on “You Are the Blood,” one of my favorite Sufjan songs. Son Lux adds in the blasting, orchestral electronic arrangements and Serengeti lays down some very respectable verses. Overall it’s a great song and I love hearing new material from Stevens.
