For some reason I slept on this band while I was going through trying to collect all the essential jangle pop from the 80s and 90s. That was a dangerous mistake for sure, but I’m glad I made up for it now. This record is too dang good! Instrumentals are super Smiths-esque and the vocals- oh man. They’re in another league. Blissful, twee, jangly goodness. For fans of Cocteau Twins, The Smiths, Lush & Mojave 3.
