Well, the summer has to end sometime. The final installment of Garage Rock Summer 2026 is here, and it’s a jammer. This is like riding out into the sunset. Although in this case, the plane taking off into the sunset crashes into a remote island in the Bermuda Triangle. You survive, as does your drug stash, and you get to spend an undetermined amount of time chilling out and developing new relationships with random objects on the island.

All that being said, this is a pretty feel-good, celebratory, chill garage rock jammers playlist. It’s god some all-timers for me, like Smith Westerns’ “Weekend,” Beach Fossils’ “Daydream,” Unknown Mortal Orchestra’s “How Can You Luv Me” and more.

Hope you’ve enjoyed the series! It’s a nice exercise in “Remembering Some Guys” within a certain time and genre range. It was a fun time!
